Hello! I live and work permanently in the Netherlands. In November 2015 I was diagnosed an unclassified form of renal cell carcinoma and I am now under treatment. I would like to share information, views, thoughts, experiences and suggestions with anybody else in a similar situation. I only ask you to speak English. Many thanks in advance. Best regards.

Dear a_user,

Welcome in our kidney and bladder cancer group. As one of the two moderators for this group I I'd like you to point to our library and discussion groups. Presuming you do read and understand some Dutch. In other countries I know there exist similar groups. The user interface on other sites is often less accessible and open.

I am personally fine discussing in English with you, I do not know however if there is a substantial need for English here. Considering the number of expats in Holland, there should be needs just like theme groups of Dutch origin in other areas.

In order for you to get more English traction, it is wise to fill out your profile page. Others will understand better who you are and what you are looking for. And for others it is nice to know where your opinions and views stem from.

If you'ld start blogging in English, that would be a great experiment too. That will probably be the quickest route for you to get in touch with peers. Please try to be as specific (type of renal cell carcinoma, your perspective, (integrated) medication et cetera) as can be. Every cancer type, treatment and every patient require individual attention.

I hope you'll find here a platform for sharing and asking.

Kind regards,
Modest
